According to the National Committee for the Prevention of Elder Abuse, a full 36% of nursing home workers interviewed said that they had witnessed other employees physically abuse residents.
1. Falls causing broken bones and other injuries;

3. Failing to provide basic necessities such as food and water; and
4. Abuse such as verbal, physical, emotional or sexual or a combination of these.
